Teal Pretty!

Hi luvs! Here is another look I want to share with you. A while ago I bought a few of the L'oreal Infallible eye shadows and one of them was this beautiful teal color called Endless Sea. First off, if you are looking for some great drugstore eyeshadows and don't mind paying closer to $10 this line of eye shadows are a great buy! The color choices are pretty good, just wish they came in more colors. They apply velvety smooth and really do last all day. I love Endless Sea! It's a beautiful color that brightens up your look. Here is the breakdown for my look...

Eyes
Endless Sea Infallible Eyeshadow (lid), MAC Soft Brown (crease),
Bone (browbone),
Light green, Emerald and Dark Green colors from BH Cosmetics Party Girl Palette (lower lash line)
ELF Black Cream Liner
L'oreal Voluminous Mascara

Face
MAC Studio Fix Fluid
MAC Espresso eyeshadow (contour)
1st blush from the Coastal Scents 10 blush palette
MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralized Skinfinish (highlight)

Lips
Revlon Soft Nude lipstick with MAC Burgundy lipliner (lightly applied and blended)

I also want to add that I have a new favorite contour brush!! It's the Sonia Kashuk Flat top brush. It contours like a dream! It easily fits right under the cheek bone and on the sides of the nose to create the perfect contoured face! You must give it a try!! :)

So I have always been fascinated by Cleopatra and all that her image stands for - strength, beauty and power! So in honor of the Halloween season I wanted to create a modern Cleopatra look. I did some research and found a couple of my favorite Cleopatra makeups. I then did my own interpretation. So what do you guys think....? Hope you like! With my pics is my inspiration photos.

Ravishing Cut Crease

Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are ready for Monday! Today was definitely my day of rest. Yesterday I worked the Miss Black Arizona Pageant - So fun!! Busy! But fun! I helped enhance their already beautiful faces, even giving them different looks for the different categories. It was such a great experience and am grateful to have been given the opportunity! Big congrats the all the winners and kudos to all the contestants for going out there and giving it their all!! :)

I recently did my Back 2 MAC and got Ravishing lipstick - LOVE! (For those that might not know what Back 2 MAC is, it's a recycling program MAC has where for every 6 empty containers you turn in you get either a free lipstick, eyeshadow or lipglass. Dillard's and Nordstrom give a lipstick - only free standing MAC stores give the other options. What a great perk, right?? Don't forget to take advantage!!) Here is the look I wore yesterday to the pageant using Ravishing. I also did a cut crease on my eyes. I am loving the way it turned out!
